Halloween

Isabella watched in dismay as David applied lipstick with precision and adjusted the neckline of her tight dress. She crossed her arms, not hiding her concern.

“David, my love... don’t you think this is going a little too far?”

He chuckled playfully, not stopping his makeup application.

“Relax, Isabella,” he said, with a confident smile as he adjusted the gloss on his lips and admired himself in the mirror. “It’s just a costume, just to have fun with the boys. Nothing special.”

Isabella frowned, not being convinced so easily.

“But you bought five women’s costumes, and all of them...” She let her gaze run over his silhouette, highlighting the contours of the dress. “Super sexy.”

David shrugged, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

“Oh, my love, you know how much of a perfectionist I am. If one didn’t fit perfectly, I would have to go back to the store and try on more, of course.” He winked at her in the mirror. — And another thing, it's just a little party with the boys. It's not like I'm going to go home with lipstick on my clothes, right?

Isabella bit her lip, still suspicious, but ended up sighing and shaking her head. Little did she know that, that night, it was David's friends who came back with lipstick on their clothes... and they were the ones who would have to explain themselves.
