For science

Donna slowly opened her eyes, feeling a sharp pain throb in her head. With shaking hands, she brought her fingers to her forehead, where the rough feel of the stitches made her wince. Her vision was still blurry, but she could see the indistinct shadow of her hands moving across her face. “What’s going on?” she whispered, but her own voice sounded strange—thick and hoarse, nothing like her own.

“Ah, so you’re finally awake!” — the voice was hers, but it didn’t come out of her mouth. “The experiment was a complete success!”

As her vision began to adjust, she found herself… looking at herself. Donna was staring at her own image, lying on a gurney nearby. Her eyes widened in horror. “What have you done to me? Who are you?” — the deep voice reverberated in her ears.

“I am you, and you… well, you are me now,” replied the figure that seemed to be herself. The reflection in the mirror revealed the truth—Donna’s body, now inhabited by another mind. Her gaze dropped to the gurney where she lay. No… this couldn’t be real. It was the body of her husband, the eccentric Dr. Klein, who now stared back at her with a twisted smile.

“This can’t be… this is a nightmare,” she stammered, her mind spinning in despair.

"No, my dear, this is not a nightmare. This is very real." The new Donna approached with a cold gaze. "Remember when you tried to kill me? That 'accident' on the stairs, years ago? Well, I survived by a miracle. But it wasn't without consequences. You let me paralyzed, confined in a broken body, spending years in my lab, while you pretended to be the perfect wife who cared for your invalid husband. But I knew... I knew it was you who pushed me. The cameras in the hallway captured it all."

Donna felt her heart race. She tried to move, but her body felt heavy, strange, as if it wouldn't respond properly.

"I spent years here, trapped, searching for a way to reverse the damage you caused. And I found it. During my studies, I remembered a brilliant student I was leading who had a thesis on consciousness transfer. He managed to transfer the brain of a dying rat into a healthy rat. I needed something more... daring. And here we are." The new Donna spread her arms wide, as if displaying a work of art. "We are living proof that research works in humans."

As he walked around the lab, his fingers gently running over his new body, as if he were discovering it for the first time. His movements were smooth, calculated, almost triumphant.

“I had other options, you know?” he said in a casual tone, as if he were discussing something trivial. “I could have used the body of someone who was brain dead, as my original plan suggested. It wouldn’t have been difficult… hospitals are full of terminally ill patients.” He paused, running her hand over his arm, admiring the smoothness of his skin. “But the idea of revenge… oh, the idea wouldn’t leave my mind.”

Donna, trapped in Dr. Klein’s paralyzed body, felt a shiver of pure terror run down her spine. It wasn’t just the fact that she was in a body that wasn’t her own—it was being at the mercy of someone who now had complete power over her life.

"You've done me so much harm, Donna. Years of pain, of loneliness... you pushed me away, left me for dead. And then you moved on, as if nothing had happened." The new Donna laughed, a dark laugh that echoed off the cold walls of the lab. "So I thought... why not let you experience the consequences? Nothing would be more fitting than for you to go through the hell you put me through."

He walked over to the large mirror next to the gurney, gazing at his new reflection in awe. "Look at me now...your skin, so young, so smooth." His fingers trailed down her face and down her neck, pausing at her shoulders. "It's amazing how youth can be so...invigorating. No pain, no limitations. Just perfection."

He smiled with satisfaction as his fingers ran through her long, silky hair. "That hair, so shiny, so full of life. I've never felt so good." The new Donna laughed, tilting her head to admire herself even more. "And those..."—her hands fell to her sides, stopping at her hips and then moving up to her chest, lightly squeezing her breast—"those assets...so beautiful, so...sensual."

He paced in front of the mirror, appreciating every smooth movement of her new body. “You know, Donna, you’ve been a terrible wife, but your body…that body is a masterpiece.” He laughed again, the laugh thick with triumph. “Now you’re going to have to live with the consequences of everything you’ve done. You’re going to have to see it, feel it…and suffer, just like I did. There’s nothing fairer than that.”

"Oh, but don't worry, my dear. Unlike you, I'll take good care of you in this state. I'll make sure you have everything you need. And look at this... I've already made all the legal arrangements." The new Dr. Klein leaned forward slightly, looking Donna up and down as she tried to process his words. "I've transferred all the money and property to you. Or rather, to me! Hahahaha"

Then, as he stopped his villainous laughter, eyes falling on the young student in the corner of the lab. He stood there, mouth agape, stunned by everything that was happening. Dr. Klein turned to him, a wicked, amused glint in his eyes.

“Oh, how interesting,” he murmured, his new voice soft and intent. “You know, something occurred to me. For science, of course.” He approached slowly, his hips swaying gently with each step, and the student seemed unable to look away. “If we’re going to explore the potential of science…then we should explore everything this body is capable of, don’t you think?”

He stopped just in front of him, inches away, his eyes locked on his. His lips curved into a seductive smile. “You helped set up this experiment, after all. It’s only fair that we find out how far we can go. Science is a journey of discovery…and I intend to enjoy every one of them.”

The student swallowed, his face still full of surprise, but now mixed with nervous curiosity. He could hardly believe what he was hearing as the new Dr. Klein leaned a little closer, his gaze intense and filled with a new energy—a dangerous mix of power and sensuality.
