A night to remember

A few days ago, Jason and Angelica had a big fight. She, determined to take a break, went to spend a few days at her mother's house. Jason, on the other hand, completely forgot about the business dinner scheduled by his boss's wife. She insisted that he bring his “beautiful and polite wife” – the same one he loved to see. Jason knew that more than any report or sale, his boss valued a good marriage. Those social gatherings could be the key to the promotion he so desired.

"Dude, are you sure about this?" Matthew's muffled voice echoed from the couple's bedroom. He appeared in the doorway, tugging Angelica's robe around his slender body. "Are you sure your wife won't suspect I was wearing her clothes?" He tried to adjust the strap of the bra, his face full of uncertainty. "And remember the deal! You get the promotion, and I get a better position. Okay?"

Jason let out a short laugh. The situation was surreal, but the perfect solution lay in the old spell book he had inherited from his eccentric aunt. "Just wait... the spell will solve everything." He opened the book with quick gestures, murmuring arcane words that made the air around him vibrate. "Da formas rectas portatori", he finished in Latin, his voice deep and determined.

At that moment, something began to happen. Matthew felt a tingling sensation run through his entire body, like a gentle electric current spreading. His muscles contracted and relaxed, the curves of his body adjusting mesmerizingly to the clothes. He ran his hand over his face and instinctively ran to the mirror. What he saw made his heart race: the reflection was of Angelica, perfect in every detail. His eyes widened.

"Honey, I don't know how to apply makeup properly," Matthew said, almost without thinking, as he tried to understand the nuances of his new features. He laughed nervously. "And you know your boss's wife is so... boring. All that rich-lady talk! We can't stay long. Oh, my love..." He stopped abruptly, his face in shock. "Wait a minute... Did I call you honey? And my love? That's not what I meant?!" He started gesturing, his eyes wide, his voice rising in pitch.

Jason just smiled, amused by his friend's confusion. "I forgot to tell you... The spell brings the mannerisms and some memories of whoever you're imitating. It's a way to ensure that you know how to behave and what to do in the situation. Relax, it's okay! The only thing you need to remember is that... well, don't have any intimate contact for the next 12 hours, or the effect may become permanent."

Matthew was alarmed, raising his hands in a defensive gesture. "Intimate contact? With you? Oh, don't worry, that doesn't even cross my mind!"

Despite the initial nervousness, everything went well at dinner. The boss's wife was delighted with "Angelica", and the compliments didn't stop. Matthew, embodying the character with unexpected confidence, enjoyed the attention he received, laughing and joking at the right moments. The initial tension began to dissipate as the night progressed, and, with the help of a few drinks, Jason and Matthew relaxed more than they should have.

As dinner wore on, the laughter grew louder, and the conversations became more intimate, a curious forgetfulness began to emerge. Matthew, who had initially been hesitant and uncomfortable in his new role, now felt increasingly comfortable as "Angelica." And for Jason, the woman in front of him was no longer the longtime friend he had known, but an idealized version of his wife—fun, elegant, and full of charm.

Amidst exchanges of glances and smiles, they began to forget that this Angelica was, in fact, Matthew. The closeness between them grew naturally. The touch of hands that had previously been accidental became a little more intentional, and at some point, the distance between them seemed to have disappeared completely.

At the end of the night, already in the car, the laughter turned into something more. With the effects of joy and happiness clouding his reasoning and the tension of the night converted into a kind of dangerous attraction, Jason forgot the most important rule. Their casual touch escalated, and before they knew it, a line they were never meant to cross was crossed.

Now, when Jason wakes up the next morning, he has a lot more than just dinner to explain—to both Matthew and his real wife...
