The Perfect Girlfriend: A Shooting Star's Unusual Wish
Except he wasn't.
In reality, Matt was fighting with every ounce of self-control he had to keep from freaking out as he stared at his reflection on his phone screen. The image showed a stunning woman with long, silky black hair, piercing green eyes framed by thick lashes, and a generous neckline that left little room for any trace of his former masculine identity. Those enormous gold hoop earrings and the delicate four-leaf clover necklace seemed to mock the man he had been just the night before.
And it was all Jason's fault. His best friend. And one stupid shooting star.
They had been drinking on the rooftop when a bright streak of light crossed the night sky. Jason, the eternal bachelor with terrible luck in love, squeezed his eyes shut and made the most dangerous cliché wish of all:
"I wish I were much more handsome and had a beautiful girlfriend by my side!"
The universe, with its rather twisted sense of humor, decided to grant his wish literally, instantly, and with remarkable efficiency.
As if by magic, the spell reshaped both of them at the very same moment.
Jason got the biggest upgrade of his life. He became a tall, athletic man with a chiseled jawline and features worthy of an international fashion model. His wish to become more attractive had been an undeniable success.
The problem was the second part of his request.
Instead of making a beautiful woman magically appear out of nowhere on the rooftop, the cosmic magic simply looked at the nearest available person and rearranged the matter that was already there.
That person was Matt.
Within seconds, his loose clothes adjusted to a new figure, complete with striking curves and an impeccable silhouette. He was no longer Jason's gaming buddy. He had become the "beautiful girlfriend" his best friend had wished for.
Now trapped in that breathtaking body, with Jason staring at him with a mixture of disbelief and an unexpected sparkle in his eyes, Matt finally understood the monumental mess he'd gotten himself into.
All because of one drunken wish.
What would you do if your best friend accidentally wished you into becoming his perfect girlfriend? Would you be more upset about the transformation itself, or about the way he was suddenly looking at you?
