The Spell That Revealed His Love -

Image
Paul started getting worried when Andrew stopped answering his messages. After a few hours, he decided to check on his friend and see if he had managed to find a solution to the whole mess. He had. Or, at least, he had found something that looked like one. Paul knocked on the bedroom door. — Andrew? You okay? — Just come in! Paul opened the door and immediately stopped. For a few seconds, he was so surprised that he completely forgot what he had intended to say. Andrew was lying face-down on the bed, flipping through a huge spellbook. The problem was that Andrew didn't exactly look like Andrew anymore. The spell had completely transformed his body, and apparently every attempt to recover some trace of his old appearance only made things worse. At that moment, he was wearing a white satin outfit that definitely hadn't been his choice.

My New Life Started with a Stranger Knocking on My Door

Image
The knock came early that morning. When I opened the door, a young man in an expensive suit stood there, looking strangely nervous. "I'm sorry to bother you, ma'am..." "My father passed away last night." He hesitated before continuing. "Your address was written on several pieces of paper in his office." I frowned. "I'm sorry... I think you've got the wrong person." He looked genuinely confused. "You really have no idea why one of the richest men in the country would have your address?" Of course I knew. I just couldn't tell him. Three weeks ago... I was that billionaire. Terminally ill. The doctors had given me less than three years to live. One evening, tired of hospitals and bad news, I went for a walk and stopped at a small neighborhood diner. The waitress was cheerful. She joked that, judging by my suit, I looked like someone who believed money could buy anything. I smiled and told her...

When Being “Too Good” Makes You the Champion

Image
They said he was too nice. Too attentive. Too easy to replace. But sometimes, the universe doesn’t punish cruelty — it reassigns perspective . And sometimes, the real winner is the one who knows exactly when to change places. Nathan Reed had always been the kind of man people praised but never truly valued. Thoughtful, consistent, emotionally present — the kind of partner who remembered small details and apologized even when he wasn’t wrong. Vanessa knew that. And somehow, that made her resent him. She complained constantly that he was “too good,” too predictable, too soft. She said she needed someone with more presence, more authority, more attitude. She made sure to voice those complaints openly — especially around her current boyfriend, Caleb Moore. Caleb saw everything. And still, he stayed. He loved Vanessa. Loved her sharp tone, her messy habits, her commanding presence. He accepted her flaws not because he didn’t notice them — but because he believed love meant endurance. Nathan...

Between Echoes of the Machine: When Desire Misses Its Mark

Image
Jason adjusts hins 'gloves' and says, I'm Going to end you! When two friends decide to test an alien device capable of recreating the ideal companion each of them secretly wished for who they dreamed of having by their side, the line between curiosity and consequence becomes dangerously thin. Especially when the machine decides that one of them will become that ideal. Jason yanked the lace glove with an irritated snap, heat rushing up the features of his new face — a face he definitely wouldn’t have chosen if he’d known the machine would malfunction on his turn . “I’m going to end you,” he hissed, the voice far too velvety to match the threat. Aaron stepped back, hands up. “Wait, wait… I didn’t do anything! The deal was simple: use the weird alien machine to become the ideal version of the girls we always wanted to talk to but never had the courage. And you didn’t complain at all when it was my turn!” Jason clenched his jaw, the red ribbons on his transformed body trembl...

The mysterious blonde

Image
Dave tugged the hood up as if trying to fold himself into the shadows, hiding his freshly made-up face. Too late. Maria had already spotted him, sharp-eyed, amused, and very aware. She let out a short, playful laugh, pretending to her boyfriend that she simply found “the mysterious hooded girl” funny. But inside, she savored the irony: she knew exactly who that girl was. Maria had never liked Dave’s influence. To her, he was a walking spark of chaos, always dragging her boyfriend into late-night adventures filled with music, trouble, and, mostly, women. Dave and her boyfriend were inseparable, twin storms always plotting their next escape into places that made Maria roll her eyes. Until one day, in a moment that felt almost like a spell cast out of irritation, Maria thought: If Dave loves being around those girls so much, why not let him experience that… fully? And he did. Now there Dave stood: new curves, a soft voice, a face that flickered between charm and nerves. A new life s...
