His Body Was Destroyed. The Doctor Had a Solution
On that day, he was about to become the most successful and extravagant experiment in modern science.
After losing control of his car on an isolated road, the violent impact against a tree should have been the end of him. Instead, he was rescued by a brilliant and eccentric scientist who maintained a secret laboratory nearby.
Raymond's original body had been completely destroyed in the wreckage, but the doctor acted quickly. With the young man's brain still intact and properly oxygenated, he activated the most ambitious project of his career.
Deep inside the laboratory, inside a cryogenic containment chamber, rested a biological specimen that had been cultivated for years, patiently waiting for the perfect host.
Hours later, Raymond's consciousness slowly emerged from an induced coma.
The sharp pains from the accident were gone.
In fact, he felt surprisingly light, refreshed, and...
Different.
When he finally opened his eyes, he didn't find himself in a cold hospital ICU. Instead, he was lying in the scientist's private recovery suite.
The ceiling was ornately decorated, the walls were covered with luxurious oriental panels, and the entire room carried the faint fragrance of roses.
Raymond sat up on the silk sheets and looked down.
He froze.
His calloused hands were gone.
In their place were long, delicate fingers with perfectly painted red nails. He was wearing exquisitely detailed lace lingerie, held in place by a classic garter belt supporting sheer stockings over his now remarkably smooth and sculpted legs.
Confused and frightened, Raymond carefully climbed out of bed and wrapped himself in a translucent silk robe with extravagant white feathers around the cuffs.
He stumbled toward the large golden mirror across the room.
The reflection nearly made him lose his breath.
Standing before him was a stunning woman who looked as though she belonged on the cover of a high-fashion magazine.
Long waves of pink hair fell perfectly over her shoulders, crowned by a sparkling tiara. Her face had delicate, almost angelic features, framed by full red lips and an impossibly graceful figure.
Raymond slowly raised his feather-covered hands, touching his unfamiliar body as his heart raced inside his new chest.
The brain was his.
The memories were his.
But the body...
The body was a masterpiece of feminine design.
The bedroom door opened.
The eccentric scientist stepped inside carrying a tray with two glasses and a bottle of expensive champagne. He looked at his creation and smiled with unmistakable pride.
— I see the transplant was an absolute success, my dear Raymond — the doctor said as he poured the champagne. — Your old body was beyond saving, but I preserved your mind and gave you the finest specimen I had available. Consider this your second chance at life.
Raymond blinked behind his long lashes.
When he finally spoke, his new voice came out soft, melodic, and almost impossibly different from the one he remembered.
He stared at the bubbles rising through his champagne glass.
— A second chance at life? Doctor... you saved my life, but how the hell am I supposed to explain to my family, my friends, and the insurance company that Raymond now wears high heels, a tiara, and pink hair?
The doctor simply raised his glass.
— That's the part of the experiment I haven't figured out yet.
