When the Sky Fell into Two Forms

Some encounters change destinies.
Others change bodies.

That night, Jason and Tonny did not merely witness something that should never have landed on Earth — they became part of an experiment that belonged to no human laboratory.

And the price of curiosity would be paid in their own flesh.

Jason and Tonny would never forget that night.

As they stepped outside, they saw something in the sky that defied all explanation: a strange, pill-shaped object gliding silently between the clouds. Driven by a mixture of fear and fascination, they followed the glowing trail to a secluded clearing in a park far from the city.

That was where everything began.

A hatch opened, and two creatures emerged from the craft. Without any sound of engines, the object tilted horizontally, tore through the sky in an impossible movement… and vanished.

The silence it left behind felt unnatural.

One of the creatures removed a small metallic device and pointed it at the other. A beam of light sliced through the air.

The target convulsed, arched backward, released a sound almost human — and within seconds, it was no longer an alien.

Before their eyes stood a tall man, with long hair, rosy skin, dressed in impeccable executive clothes.

Shaken, the transformed being took the same device, adjusted a few commands, and aimed it at his companion. Another beam. Another metamorphosis.

Now there were two human figures, with different faces but similar attire.

The impossible had just happened.

A sudden commotion echoed in the distance.

Footsteps. Voices. Helicopters slicing the air.

Startled, the two “aliens, now human” fled into the forest. In their panic, they dropped the strange device in the grass.

— Did you see that? — Tonny whispered, his voice trembling.
— I… I think we shouldn’t be here — Jason replied, even as his feet carried him toward the object.

Jason grabbed the device while Tonny watched the surroundings. Within minutes, military sounds grew closer. Boots marched. Searchlights swept the trees.

They ran.

Hours later, inside Jason’s house, doors locked and curtains drawn, they placed the object on the table.

— Man… — Jason murmured, turning it in his hands. — From what I understand, the beam comes out from here. Do you think it works on us?

— I don’t know… — Tonny studied the blinking symbols. — Did you notice? They changed the settings before using it. Maybe it’s protection… camouflage… or something worse.

Jason smiled nervously.

— You’re as curious as I am, aren’t you?

Tonny took a deep breath.

— There’s only one way to find out.

He pointed the device at Jason.

— Hey, easy — Jason laughed. — Play with those crazy buttons, but I don’t want to end up like one of those guys who are probably being dissected at Area 51 right now.

Tonny adjusted the controls at random… and pressed.

The beam hit Jason squarely.

He screamed.

His body contracted, bones cracked, muscles reshaped beneath his skin. He fell to his knees, groaned in pain… and then everything stopped.

When he stood, he was no longer the same man.

Younger. Taller. Stronger. Defined muscles sculpted a body that was no longer his. His clothes had adapted to a more imposing version of himself.

Jason took a deep breath, eyes wide.

— Man… — he touched his chest, his arms, his legs. — It’s like… like my body was reset. The pain is gone. I’ve never felt this good in my life.

Tonny swallowed hard.

Now it was his turn.

— Just… just change the settings again — he said, trying to sound calm.

Jason obeyed.

The beam struck Tonny.

This time, something went wrong.

He felt the floor rising toward his eyes.

Or rather… he was getting shorter.

His short blond hair began to grow, darken, fall over a face that was becoming softer, more delicate. His hands changed color, taking on a warm bronze tone. His nails grew long, white, perfect.

A cold breeze slid up his legs.

Tonny’s eyes widened.

He looked down.

A dress.

He pulled the fabric up, in disbelief. Brought a hand to his chest — and felt a swelling forming beneath his fingers.

He froze.

With one hand pressing against his newly formed breasts, he stared at Jason, who could only gape at him in shock.

Tonny’s eyes said everything:

“Yeah… I think this went very, very wrong.”

As if that were not enough, the glowing alerts on the device went dark.

For hours, they tried to reactivate it.

Without success.

And now, beyond an impossible secret, they faced an even greater problem:

How could they explain that, in a single night, one of them had been reborn in a body that should never have been his?
