Chaotic holidays

The ship had been silent for days, each cabin occupied by people still processing the cosmic event that had switched their bodies. Don, now in the body of his young niece, had spent the last few days avoiding leaving his cabin, observing himself in the mirror, uncomfortable with the reality of the pink swimsuit that seemed to scream for attention.

Tired of hiding, he finally opened his niece’s suitcase, determined to find something less conspicuous. “I just need something more… neutral,” he thought as he rummaged through the clothes. But after removing each item, he realized that his niece was clearly not a fan of understated options. “Nothing. Just dresses, skirts, and loud colors.”

Sighing deeply, he looked down. “You know what? Screw it.”

Instead of resisting the chaos, he decided to embrace it. With newfound confidence, Don left the cabin, walking across the deck toward the pool. The few people outside their cabins glanced at him, but didn’t dare look directly at him. With a determined leap, Don dove into the pool, feeling the lightness and energy of his young body, unlike anything he had felt in years.

Across the deck, his niece—now in Don’s body—appeared, her shoulders tense and her expression of evident frustration. She looked at her uncle, swimming happily and crossed her arms, clearly irritated.

“Seriously, Uncle Don?” she exclaimed, adjusting the dress shirt that looked ridiculously uncomfortable on her new body. “Are you really going to stand there and parade around in that?”

Don emerged from the water with a carefree smile, sarcasm twinkling in his voice. “Oh, relax, this body is fantastic! It doesn’t hurt at all, I have energy to spare. And to be honest this pink one suits me much better than I imagined.

The niece raised an eyebrow, indignant.

"You're taking too much advantage of this, aren't you?"

Don shrugged, now stretching his arms with exaggerated pleasure. "Oh, of course. You should see how good it is to not have back pain every time I bend over!" He winked, barely hiding his teasing tone. "And look at this, I think I found my style."

The niece, now in her uncle's body, shook her head in disbelief. "This is so... wrong. And to think you didn't even want to leave the cabin at first!"

Don let out a light laugh. "And miss this chance? Nah, I decided that since we're stuck in this chaos, the least I can do is enjoy it. It's your body, but the fun is now mine!" The niece sighed, frustrated and somewhat amazed at how easily Don seemed to be adapting. "He's definitely enjoying this more than he should," she thought.
