Tuned into the Subconscious
Aaron didn't seem to find absolutely anything strange about what was happening to him. The rowdy young man, known by everyone in the neighborhood for his worn-out leather jackets, unfinished tattoos, and a rather unfriendly track record of bar fights and street races, had been surprisingly peaceful lately. He still kept his attachment to his sacred morning routine: waking up early, ignoring his alarms, and blasting heavy rock music as high as it could go, letting the bass echo through the walls of the house. However, for the past few days, this same rugged routine had been gaining some very peculiar new steps that would leave any of his biker friends utterly speechless.
On that particular gray morning, he was still wearing his faded black band t-shirt—a tour relic full of holes that he stubbornly refused to throw away. But even before taking his first sip from his mug of strong coffee, Aaron’s feet guided him down a different path. As if in a perfectly natural trance, he walked straight into his younger sister's bedroom and borrowed a few items that, up until a week ago, he wouldn't even know the purpose of.
To understand the current situation, one had to go back a few months in time. Aaron's mother was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, deeply worried about the young man's future and his failing performance at college and his mechanical job. Aaron simply didn't care about responsibilities or deadlines; his only real interest was staying locked in his room, isolated from the world, taking his frustrations out on loud music, or heading out into the night to pick unnecessary fights.
Desperate and running out of options, his younger sister came up with a brilliant, albeit somewhat manipulative, scientific idea. Knowing that her brother was an incredibly heavy sleeper—often passing out with his wireless headphones still playing his heavy metal albums on repeat—she put her tech skills to use. The girl snuck into Aaron's streaming account and set up a custom algorithm. She inserted a very specific, carefully camouflaged playlist right in the middle of the loud repertoire he insisted on listening to overnight. The title of the hidden folder was straightforward: "Exploring Your Feminine Side".
Thus, deep into the night, while Aaron's brain tried to process the storm of distorted guitars and thumping drums, the playlist would subtly shift. Without him realizing it in his deep sleep, subliminal audio tracks mixed with binaural beats would begin to play. They were detailed lessons repeated to exhaustion covering makeup techniques, hair care, body posture, etiquette, grace, and, above all, the natural elegance of feminine behavior.
The plan worked better than the two women had ever dared to imagine. Without realizing what was happening, the young man was gradually being taken over by those memories implanted deep within his subconscious, and his brain began to manifest them in his conscious mind as if they were his own natural desires and skills.
Upon waking up, his old aggressive impulses and routine gruffness gave way to a sudden, uncontrollable urge to pamper himself and feel beautiful. That morning, Aaron sat calmly in front of the vanity mirror. With surprisingly light, delicate movements and the dexterity of someone who seemed to have been doing this for years, he began wrapping pink and gold rollers into his long blonde hair. Right after, he picked up a wand and began applying a glossy mauve lip tint, finishing an impeccable makeup look that highlighted voluminous lashes and features he never imagined could look so feminine and attractive. While the heavy rock music kept pounding through his headphones, Aaron simply smiled at the mirror, admiring the stunning girl looking back at him.
Through the crack of the half-open door, his sister and mother watched the scene with wide eyes, caught between the absolute shock of the physical and behavioral transformation and a profound sense of relief. And well... in a way, the plan was working almost exactly as it should. The violent troublemaker was completely gone, replaced by a gentle, extremely glamorous, and radiant young woman who seemed far more concerned with achieving the perfect eyeliner than with any street fight.
