The Lesson That Made His Transformation Permanent

 “Where do you think you're going dressed like that?” Roberta asked, folding her arms as she tried to process the sight in front of her.

Blake, now sporting long black hair, pronounced curves, and flawless makeup, simply adjusted the strap of her pale pink lace top and gave her wife a mischievous little smile.

“I'm going out with our daughter,” Blake replied, her voice now perfectly feminine and melodic. “This whole mess started because you complained that I only ever paid attention to our son. Weren't you the one who turned me into this so I could finally understand her side?”

“I did,” Roberta admitted, rubbing her temples. “But did it really have to be these clothes? A tight miniskirt and those ridiculous white boots? You've spent your entire life telling her to dress more modestly!”

“Exactly. And you've always criticized me for being too old-fashioned,” Blake shot back, adjusting the beige purse with its chain strap on her shoulder. “The whole outfit was her idea. She said that if I really wanted to understand what it was like for her, I needed to experience the complete package.”

Blake gave herself a quick glance in the mirror.

“So... here I am.”

Just to tease her wife, Blake gave a playful little sway of her hips. The pink miniskirt shifted slightly as she moved, emphasizing the feminine figure the spell had given her.

Roberta sighed in defeat, although she couldn't quite hide the amused sparkle in her eyes.

The spell had worked far too well.

The original plan had been simple: teach her husband a lesson and reverse the magic the following morning.

There was just one problem.

The magic hadn't worn off.

Roberta had discovered that at sunrise, when she woke up expecting to find her husband back in his usual body. Instead, his masculine clothes had disappeared, and Blake was still lying beside her, beautiful and completely transformed.

Neither of them understood why.

Until now.

The answer to the mystery was locked away in the room next door.

Their daughter knew exactly what had happened.

During their outing, she had taken full advantage of her transformed “father's” appearance and introduced Blake to a friend of her boyfriend as her new cousin.

It had started innocently enough.

Then came the compliments.

Then the playful conversation.

And Blake, completely forgetting the strange rule of the spell, had accepted the attention instead of shutting it down.

According to the old magical rule, once the transformed person willingly played along with romantic attention, the spell could no longer be reversed.

Just like that, the temporary transformation had become permanent.

And their daughter wasn't merely an innocent bystander anymore.

She was officially an accomplice.

While Roberta desperately tried to figure out how to undo the spell, Blake stepped into the hallway.

She exchanged a knowing glance with her daughter.

The girl smiled.

Roberta narrowed her eyes.

“Why do I have the feeling you two are already planning something?”

Neither of them answered.

But the matching smiles on their faces made one thing perfectly clear.

Whatever happened next, Blake's old wardrobe probably wasn't coming back.
