The FeMeasles Protocol: When a Soldier Became the Perfect Spy
The money was excellent. More than enough to make him ignore the mountain of paperwork and sign the final page without bothering to read the damn fine print.
Jim assumed he'd spend two weeks swallowing vitamin pills and running on treadmills.
He was very, very wrong.
What he didn't know was that he'd just become the newest test subject for an ultra-secret, non-lethal tactical weapons project: the FeMeasles Protocol.
It was a terrifyingly effective biological weapon designed to neutralize enemy armies without firing a single bullet. The compound targeted the victim's DNA, restructuring the body's cellular makeup and transforming heavily built soldiers into remarkably feminine women, rendering them completely unprepared for traditional combat.
When the scientists activated the containment chamber and pinkish vapor filled the laboratory, Jim felt his muscles begin to shrink.
His weathered arms became slimmer. His square jaw softened, his features changed, and long, perfectly wavy blonde hair cascaded over his newly delicate shoulders.
But then came the strangest part.
The compound had an unusual side effect: it reacted with any textile fibers in the immediate area.
Jim looked down.
His military fatigue uniform had been completely restructured into a fitted, strappy dress.
Then the white fabric began filling with dozens of bright red spots, spreading across the material like a high-fashion rash.
That was when everything finally clicked.
The spots always appeared during the transformation.
That was where the project's unofficial nickname came from.
Measles.
Biological measles with a very peculiar idea of beauty.
Now Jim sat on the floor of the containment laboratory, wearing a gigantic red bow that the medical team had insisted he put on to "test the disguise's aerodynamics."
He stared through the reinforced glass at the scientists on the other side.
His expression was unmistakably grumpy.
His red lipstick, unfortunately, was absolutely flawless.
He had gone from being a trained soldier to looking like he'd stepped straight out of a retro pin-up poster.
The government had created the perfect infiltration weapon.
And Jim was its first fully functional prototype.
