Grandma Emilly’s Perfect Hideout
But this time, they had crossed the line in a major way. It was so bad that both the police and some very dangerous debt collectors were hot on their trail. There was nowhere left to hide in the city. Desperate, the brothers burst into Emilly’s house begging for "help until the dust settles." They expected the wealthy old lady to simply open her wallet, pay off their debts, and maybe buy them two one-way tickets to an isolated tropical island.
They weren't entirely wrong. She really did open her wallet. But Grandma Emilly’s solution was far more radical and... personal.
"Plane tickets leave a paper trail in the system, you idiots," the old lady said, looking at the two sweaty brutes standing in her living room. "If you want to vanish from the face of the earth, Antony and Vince need to cease to exist. And you know what? I was getting pretty tired of that old arthritis anyway."
Two weeks later, after an intensive recovery period in a high-end, underground aesthetic clinic fully funded by her, brand-new documents were issued. Antony and Vince had vanished from the world. In their places, two gorgeous girls were born. And to seal the perfect disguise, Grandma Emilly herself went through the exact same procedure, achieving an enviable youth.
Now, in the safety of the mansion's rooms with its Victorian wallpaper, the trio poses casually for a photo during a lively "girls' night." Dressed in matching pink sheer mesh baby-doll nighties, trimmed with fluffy faux fur on the bust and hem, the three of them are having fun as if they were high school friends.
As the camera flashed, Emilly, adjusting her metallic satin glove with a mischievous smile on the right side of the photo, didn't miss the chance to tease her new granddaughters:
"And don't pretend you're not enjoying it! I already sneaked a peek at your phones and saw all those boys spamming heart emojis on the posts you've been sharing on social media. And I swear I even caught a 'when are we going out?' comment in there!"
No matter how much the former Antony and Vince tried to blush and deny it, their confident poses in the photo gave everything away. The problem had been solved in the most bizarre way possible, but it was crystal clear that all of them were absolutely loving this new pink life, full of secrets—and full of new suitors.
