Be Careful What You Wish For : My Family Became a Trio of Blonde Clones (And I Loved It!)

Anyone with a big family knows that keeping the house in order is a daily battle. Francine certainly did. She was the kind of woman who practically breathed organization. Straight lines, perfectly aligned cushions, and silence.

Her reality, however? A husband who constantly left wet towels on the bed and a teenage son whose bedroom looked like it had been hit by a hurricane made entirely of dirty clothes.

Her only respite was Pam. Her eighteen-year-old daughter was an angel around the house. She never yelled, never played video games until dawn, and kept her bedroom spotless. Every week, Francine repeated the same mantra:

“Why can’t the men in this house be as easy to deal with as Pam?”

Until fate decided to answer her in the worst—or perhaps best—way possible.

The Wrong Wish at the Wrong Time

It happened on an ordinary evening.

Francine tripped over yet another pair of sneakers abandoned in the hallway. Exhausted, she glanced out the window just as a shooting star streaked across the sky.

Without thinking, she blurted out:

“I wish you two could be more like Pam... Things would be so much easier for me!”

She went to bed irritated.

The next morning, she woke to absolute silence.

Smiling, Francine assumed that, at last, they had learned to respect the rules of the house.

Then she walked downstairs into the living room.

And froze.

Meet the New “Sisters”

Sitting on the couch, ready to go out, were three stunning blondes who were absolutely identical.

The magic hadn't simply changed her husband and son on the inside. It had physically transformed them into perfect clones of Pam.

Apparently, Pam's wardrobe had also been completely raided for the night out they were planning.

There they were, posing together: one wearing a daring red outfit, another in an elegant white pantsuit—probably the version Francine's husband had considered the most “respectable” for himself—and the third sporting a deadly black look, complete with white lace stockings, garters, and sky-high heels.

The whole “identical sisters” look was both flawless and surreal.

The Plan Backfires... Or Does It?

What Francine didn't know about her “perfect daughter” was revealed at that very moment.

Pam wasn't trouble around the house for a very simple reason:

She was hardly ever there.

Her real interests were going out, partying, and enjoying life.

Now multiplied by three, the clones finished getting ready, crossed their legs over their lace stockings, and prepared to take over the city's nightlife.

The chaos of video games had been replaced by the smell of hairspray and the sharp click of high heels against the floor.

On paper, Francine's life should have been turned upside down by having her husband and son transformed into party girls.

But, much to anyone watching from the outside, Francine didn't seem bothered by the new routine of her “three sisters” in the slightest.

The reason?

Well, Francine had secrets of her own.

For quite some time, she'd been enjoying herself and having some rather private training sessions with her personal trainer.

The magical transformation of her family had turned out to be the perfect excuse she'd been waiting for.

Now, Francine was the biggest supporter of making sure the “girls”—including her former husband in high heels—got out of the house, enjoyed the nightlife, and stayed out for as long as possible.

After all, while the three identical clones wore out their heels on the dance floor, Francine could make sure the house remained perfectly clean...

and very well accompanied.

In the end, the lesson had changed:

Be careful what you wish for, because it might turn out to be exactly the little push you needed!
