Take a peek

“Obviously it’s me, you idiot! Do you really think my sister would send you a picture wearing just this? Come on! I told you from the start — my dad’s crazy machine malfunctioned and accidentally swapped our bodies! You laughed, thought I was joking... So here I am, with her phone, wearing her stuff, going through all this trouble just to prove it to you once and for all!

And you know what? I’m sick of hearing you say, for the billionth time, that you never had the guts to confess your feelings to her. Well, now that I’m the one in this body, I’ll give you a little nudge. Consider it a gift — a chance to see something you probably never would have, if things had stayed the way they were.”

The problem was, Brian had no idea that the machine would never work again. What was supposed to be a temporary accident turned into a permanent reality. And Francis... well, he started seeing that body — and all of its outfits — more and more often. So often, in fact, that glances turned into texts, texts into dates, and before long, the two of them were officially a couple. It felt strange at first, but surprisingly natural soon after. In the end, they both chose to move forward, hand in hand, embracing the new reality as if it had always been the plan all along.
