A Hairy Situation
A beautiful cascade of brown, curly hair framed his now delicate shoulders, shining under the office light. The transformation was obvious. The experimental hair growth treatment had worked… but with results far beyond what anyone had expected.
George sighed heavily, looking at the doctor with a mixture of anger and frustration.
"Look what you've done, doctor... Just look at me!" he said, his voice full of indignation.
Dr. Francis adjusted his glasses, trying to remain composed. "George, I know this was a... significant change. But look, the hair growth was an extraordinary success! Your hair is healthy, strong, shiny..."
George ran his hand through the curls with an irritated gesture. "Do you think I can even look at myself in the mirror like this? Can you imagine?"
The doctor hesitated. It was obvious the patient was deeply uncomfortable, and it wasn’t hard to understand why. His entire appearance had changed. The treatment, intended to restore a few strands, had altered much more than just George’s scalp.
"I... I understand your discomfort," Dr. Francis said, trying to sound empathetic. "But from a technical standpoint, the outcome was a success."
George huffed, glancing at his now small, delicate hands, as if they didn’t belong to him either.
After a tense silence, he muttered bitterly:
"And to make it even worse... my hair used to be black. Black and straight. And now you give me this," he said, pulling on a lock of his brown curls with visible disgust.
Dr. Francis blinked, stunned. "So... your biggest complaint is... the color and texture of your hair?"
George crossed his arms tighter and turned his face away in a pout, muttering:
"It was the least you could've kept."
Dr. Francis stood there for a moment, processing everything. In the midst of such an absurd transformation, it was the hair that bothered George the most.
He quickly scribbled a note on the medical chart, unable to fully hide a small smile: Patient complains about hair color and texture. Everything else, apparently, irrelevant.
