The Last Debt to Settle
The man who once tasted rock bottom — hunger, debt, and cold nights on the streets — had finally turned his life around.
It all began last year, when, with the last bit of money he had, he bought a lottery ticket. Against all odds, he won. Millions hit his account overnight, and just like that, the world stopped laughing at him.
Slowly, carefully, Antony rebuilt his life. He paid off his debts, restored his pride, and even learned to smile again.
Everything was finally in order… except for one thing.
His ex-wife.
When Antony’s world collapsed, she was quick to trade him for a younger man — and took a good portion of his savings with her.
Now, he was ready to even the score.
Months of preparation had led to this moment. Expensive procedures, gym sessions, stylists, skincare routines — a complete rebirth. The mirror no longer showed the man he used to be.
And that was the point.
The new image — bold, striking, deliberately crafted — was his weapon.
Antony adjusted the last detail of his outfit, checked his hair, and smiled.
Tonight, he would walk into the bar where his ex-wife’s husband liked to drink.
And by the time the night was over, that man would be his.
Sure, he could’ve hired someone to do the job for him. But Antony was curious.
He wanted to see, up close, what his ex had found so irresistible in that man.
And soon enough, he would find out — in his own way.
