Me and my big mouth

Robson had been joking with his wife, teasing her because she hadn’t accepted that absurd proposal her boss had made.

“Well, if I were in your place, I would’ve taken it without thinking twice. A raise like that would really come in handy.”

She didn’t take the joke lightly. She looked straight into his eyes, her expression steady, and said,
“If you wanted that promotion so badly… and think it’s worth that much, then go ahead — do it in my place.”

Everything went dark before he could reply.

When his vision slowly returned, Robson felt the world spin around him. His body was being squeezed by clothes that were anything but comfortable, his skin brushed by long hair falling over his face… and the unsettling sensation of curves he knew, just never from this side.
He tried to process the impossible, still disoriented, when the sound of the shower suddenly stopped.

A man’s voice came from the bathroom doorway:
“I’m glad you finally accepted the offer…”

And right then, Robson understood what had happened — though he still had no idea how it was even possible.
